We are a local wedding and event staffing firm.

We are Hiring Professional Wait Staff Servers with fine dining and catering experience.

We have a wedding on Friday in Fairfax that we need 5 more servers for. All servers will be permanent employees after the wedding. We have lots of work all over the Bay Area

We are an E.O.E W2 employer that has a WEEKLY payroll.

This is a very important role for us and we rely heavily on our serving staff. They manage the pulse of the dining room or event floor and they ensure guests have a memorable dining experience.

Duties:

Prepare room the dining room by setting condiments, napkins, service plates, utensils, and table decor as required.

Protect the establishment and patrons by adhering to state and local sanitation standards. We also require all employees to adhere to work place safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.

Help patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu items; offering beverages; suggesting courses, and answering questions about the menu when required.

Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons’ choices; identifying patrons’ special dietary needs and special requests.

Keep kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.

Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons’ choices from bar and kitchen; delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars.

Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process.

Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water gles; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.

Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting patrons to return.

Obtain payment by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; delivering bill and payment to guest; returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.

Working environment is professional but maintains that small business feeling.

Prior experience as server, waiter, waitress, wait staff, runner, foh, front of the house or other FOH part time restaurant job highly desirable.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Must be at least 18 years of age and have at least 2 years of experience in the catering or restaurant field establishment.

Warm and outgoing personality and have a pion for food and customer service.

Must have a commitment to deliver a unique and memorable guest experience.

Must be punctual , patient , and mindful of client first situations.

Excellent people skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Great team player .The ability to multitask and work well in a high-volume work environment.

Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Must have or be able obtain a valid food handler card within the first 30 days.

Help keep dining room or event floor clean.

Follow all company policies and applicable laws.

Proficient with cash management.

Basic computer skills.
